Do I have to book a room for my child’s birthday party or can I just bring a cake with my group of kids?
Anyone planning to host a birthday party at the Sunrise Play Park must book a room for the event. Drop-in birthday parties are not permitted.
How early should I book my child’s birthday party?
Birthdays are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend booking as soon as you know that you want to celebrate with us.
There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 that is required at the time of booking.
Do all my guests need to sign waivers?
Yes. Any child who will be in the play area will need a signed consent form from his/her caregiver. We’ve made this step easy; you can download this form here, then simply have your guests fill out the form and bring it with them to the party. The form can also be filled out at the door.
When can I decorate the room for our party?
You will have access to your party room 15 minutes before your party starts. You can use this time to decorate. See our birthday party policies for our guidelines for decorations.
Please note, only adults may arrive before the party begins in order to set up and decorate. Please do not bring children prior to the party time. They may not play in the play space unsupervised.
Can I invite more than 10 guests?
Absolutely! Private Birthday Bash packages includes up to 18 children. DIY Birthday Fun packages include up to 10 guests. You may add up to 4 additional guests for $7 each.
Some of my guests have nut allergies. Can this be accommodated?
We cannot guarantee a nut-free environment; however, we ask that all our visitors refrain from bringing nuts into the building.
Do your birthday parties include a cake?
No, but you are welcome to bring a birthday cake with you!
Each of our birthday rooms is equipped with a mini-fridge that you can use for food storage.
If I’m bringing my own food, are there any foods that are off limits?
To be mindful of all our visitors at Sunrise Play Park we ask that you do not bring in any food that contains nuts. We also ask that you do not bring any foods that you need to cook on site.
Does my birthday package include a loot bag for my guests?
No, our birthday packages do not include loot bags, but you are welcome to bring your own loot bags with you!
How much time will we get in the play space?
Your guests will have access to your party room and the play space for 2 hours. Please note, you must provide adequate supervision for both the party room and the play space for the duration of your party. We need your support in keeping your kids safe!
Will there be other visitors in the play space during our birthday party?
For DIY Birthday Fun packages, the play space will be open to the public during the party. Private Birthday Bash packages have exclusive access to the play park during the party.
What about clean up?
For the DIY Birthday Party package, we ask that you complete all clean-up in the hour following your party. This means removing all decorations, ensuring all garbage is in the trash bin, wiping the tables and sweeping the floors. Please note, if you have children with you during this time, they are not allowed to be in the play space without adult supervision.
If you have purchased the Private Birthday Bash package, the clean up is on us!
