On May 12th a team of volunteers led by Beth Jones and Raye Ann Hayes hosted a fundraiser for the Play Park Project, a Royal Tea Party! Believe it or not, this event was bigger and better than last year’s tea party, drawing a sold-out crowd of 120 attendees!
Participants enjoyed activities like making a bejewelled crown, crafting a mother’s day card for mom, nail painting and royal bingo. Kids could have their photo taken with the King or Queen or even a sword fight! This party had it all, beautiful decorations, a castle, Snow White, a knight and maiden, and of course, delicious snacks served with tea and punch. The Royal Tea Party finished off with some door prizes and an epic royal dance party.
We want to say a big thank you to our committed team of volunteers who worked so hard, and of course, all our wonderful guests who came out to have a royally fun time and support the Play Park Project. We raised over $2,000!
